In September 2009, Bhatki Fest opened its doors to 2,500 people! Over the course of 3 days people gathered for continuous kirtan, yoga classes, and mind-opening workshops and seminars. It was described as the "Woodstock of the kirtan movement."

Bhakti Fest 2010 has been extended to a 4 day event--September 9-12. It will take place in the desert a couple hours east of Los Angeles--in Joshua Tree, CA.

This year's festival will host some of the most celebrated kirtan leaders in the world--including Krishna Das, Deva Premal, Bhagavan Das, Jai Uttal, Dave Stringer, Wah!, and MC Yogi. Daily yoga classes will be taught in the style of Vinyasa-flow, Iyengar, Kundalini, Anusara, and Bhakti yoga, by such world-famous instructors as Shiva Rea, Saul David Raye, Annie Carpenter, Duncan Wong, and Mark Whitwell. Robyn Whatley-Kahn C.B.P., C.B.I. Spanning a period of more than three decades, Robyn has been a Touch for Health instructor, Reiki Master, and a QiGong and BodyTalk Practitioner and Instructor. Her life has definitely had many different interesting experiences ranging from signing autographs to walking home over goat trials carrying a “leg of lamb” as payment for a Body Talk session on a Greek island! She found BodyTalk while in Grand Cayman when allergy specialist, Dr. Marita Kufe was invited to the island after BodyTalk initiated a “major” health challenge turn-a-round on a little girl suffering from anaphylactic shock. She was massively allergic to multiple items. As Dr. Kufe explained BodyTalk and the wisdom of the innate wisdom and that the body could regain and maintain its optimum health with better communication, Robyn knew this made sense on a deep level and that proceeded with the indepth schooling to become an instructor. Additionally, she teaches and practices Qigong, combining this with a 6 hour Access BodyTalk class at her week long “health retreat” held on the Island of Longevity, Ikaria (Greece). Robyn and her husband live in a 120 year old stone house surrounded by streams and waterfalls with a view of the sea, plus six gardens where they grow their own food. Now teaching primarily in Greece, Robyn has an international client list for remote distance BodyTalk sessions.
